A Haunting Remembrance Book I Photo Record — Sacrifices — The Basement

The stairwell leading to the basement.

The stairwell leading to the basement.

The view from the stairwell into the rest of the basement. This is the exact location where the bat became entangled in Embry’s hair.

The bottom left shows the drain hole where the robed character appeared in Embry’s dreams throughout her childhood. The walls have since been painted white to lighten the room and a large lamp as well as a flash is being used to take this photo. The small door to the right of the furnace is where Embry’s father discovered the bat.

The door leading to the cellar.

The seemingly endless crawlspace. This part of the wall was removed to run ductwork for central air conditioning well after Embry left home.

The cellar. Boxes to the left line the entrance to the expansive network of crawlspaces.

Angels. Who are they? Where do they come from? What is their purpose?

The above historical image better illustrates the Cherubim and/or Seraphim as described in the Bible. A far cry from the plump, rosy cheeked, winged toddlers often portrayed in pop culure and modern mysticism.

The above historical image better illustrates the Cherubim and/or Seraphim as described in the Bible. A far cry from the plump, rosy-cheeked, winged toddlers often portrayed by pop culture.

When we hear the word ‘angel’, our mind’s eye conjures up an image that may not be entirely accurate.  In A Haunting Remembrance Book II, an entire chapter is dedicated to answering questions about angels from a Biblical perspective. There have been many requests for me to publish this chapter on my blog.  Prior to the book going live, for a limited time, the chapter on angels will be available on this blog.  Please click on the above page, “Angels” and prepare to be shocked by what the Bible says about these amazing, powerful, and majestic beings.

Statue of Demon Baphomet Unveiled During History’s Largest Public Satanic Ceremony

July 25th, 2015–Detroit, Michigan

During what is being dubbed the “Largest Public Satanic Ceremony in the World”, an almost 9ft. tall bronze statue of the demon Baphomet was unveiled (photo above).  The bronze statue was unveiled by the satanic church called, The Satanic Temple.  Satanists and curious individuals were allowed to purchase tickets to witness the unveiling and were even allowed to have photos taken of themselves sitting on the lap of the satanic idol.

Who is Baphomet?  The origin of Baphomet has a lengthy and controversial history, much too lengthy to write about in this short blog.  In today’s culture, Baphomet symbolizes one entity, Satan.  The Devil himself.

No doubt we are living in perilous times, but how concerned should we be about such a public display of Devil worship?  I think it should be noted, taken into account and certainly be discussed within your family and church, but we must remember, the Devil and his unclean spirits need us, our bodies, to do wicked in this world.  In 1 Peter 5:8, the Bible says:  “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour...”.  The Devil is our enemy.  He wants to devour us, mind, body, and soul, and he does this through our sin.  There would no adultery, murder, lying, dishonor of parents, or idolatry without our human bodies being used as tools of evil.  The Devil, who is likened to a hungry lion that wants to eat us, is cunning and powerful but we are instructed as to how we are to handle him.  The Bible, in James 4:7, says:  “Submit yourselves therefore to God.  Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  Yes.  It is that simple. The Bible does not say for us to run from the Devil (lion).  It says we are to resist the lion, and THE LION WILL FLEE.  That is great news for those concerned about the enemy. So how are we to resist such a formidable foe?  By submitting to God.  Note that in order to be able to resist him, we must submit to God, Who then gives us the strength to resist temptation and withstand attacks from the enemy.

While the Devil is real and powerful, he is a being who is created by God.  The creation is never equal to the Creator.  God gives us the tools for victory over this adversary, we just have to be willing to use them.

Submit and resist.  The lion will flee.

Catholic Church Performs Nationwide Exorcism in Mexico!

In May of this year, Catholic leaders performed an Exorcism on the entire country of Mexico.  Leaders claim the violence, dominance of drug cartels, and abortion is evidence that Mexico is in Satan’s grip.  Is it really possible to exorcise the Devil from an entire nation? (Links provided)

Exorcism is a controversial topic.  The concept of exorcism, or healing individuals from possession by unclean spirits, is a concept that originates in the Bible. The Bible says that for the time being Satan and his unclean spirits have reign on the earth.  They have limited reign and they are not as powerful as God, but they still have the ability wreak havoc all about us.  The Bible illustrates many examples of people being set free from the bondage of unclean spirits, but is it possible to tell these unclean spirits to leave a home, a building, a country?  A Haunting Remembrance Book II devotes an entire chapter to the study of exorcism and will answer these questions and many others related to this topic.

A Haunting Remembrance Book II Photo Record the “Extra Room”

The “Extra Room” as mentioned in Book I. This is the room where the occult practices began. Photo taken 2014 while home was vacant. Note the appearance of orbs of various sizes. The large ones are a bit more faint, but there are multiple. I do not have an opinion on orbs but additional photos of this room that will appear in Book II are shocking.

Do You Believe in Angels?

Many of us do.  But what does the Bible say about angels?  Do we become angels when we pass on?  Are they really beautiful women with flowing robes, long hair and wings?  Are they minute, chubby-cheeked cherubs flitting to and fro?  Do we have guardian angels?  Can we call on them for help?  Can we see them?  How many of them are there?  Why were they created?

For decades, modern media has tried to convince us angels are something they are not.  In fact, in the Bible when making an appearance to humans they often announce themselves as angels of the Lord and warn humans to “fear not”.   Sounds mysterious.

In A Haunting Remembrance Book I, I discussed what appeared to be an angel that visited my home as a child.  Upon seeing her, many people determined she must have been an angel.  But was she?  Did she fit the Biblical description of an angel or was she simply another being sent to deceive us?

A Haunting Remembrance Book II will explore the existence of angels and hopefully answer many of these questions.
